The North Dakota Energy Forum is hosting and facilitating a forum with ND sporting groups and oil industry representatives to discuss energy development and habitat and wildlife issues.

- Featured Speaker: Melissa Simpson is the director of government affairs and science based conserva-tion at Safari Club International. She has served in high-level positions at the Depart-ment of Interior and later as Deputy Undersecretary for Natural Resources and Environment at the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Melissa works daily within the sportsmen, conservation and agricultural communities, energy industry and other stakeholder groups to develop strategies around conserving and enhancing habitat, the use of public lands, and incentivizing conservation practices .
